18th Annual 100 for Hospice Returns to Support Medina County Families

MEDIA ADVISORY -- Patrick Spoerndle will once again combine his love of golf with his commitment to hospice care during the 18th annual 100 for Hospice on Monday, Aug. 17, at Fox Meadow Country Club in Medina.

Spoerndle, joined by longtime Centurions John Gialamas and Manny Glynias, will take on 100 holes of golf in a single day to raise funds supporting comprehensive care for patients and families throughout Medina County.

Since Spoerndle founded 100 for Hospice in 2009, the event has raised more than $535,000. This year carries added meaning as Spoerndle approaches his 70th birthday and marks 18 years of support from donors, friends and the Medina community.

“For 18 years, 100 for Hospice has reminded me that one person’s commitment can inspire an entire community to care,” Spoerndle said. “There are still 100 reasons to keep showing up for patients, families and volunteers in Medina County.”

Every dollar raised through 100 for Hospice supports care for patients and families in Medina County.
