Lisa Brown Joins Reserve Care as Foundation President

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—DATE--CLEVELAND – Reserve Care recently named Lisa Brown, MBA, CFRE, president of the Reserve Care Foundation. Brown, who joined the organization in July, brings more than 20 years of fundraising and development leadership in healthcare and higher education. She leads the Foundation’s philanthropic strategy, working with donors, community partners and organizational leaders to strengthen support for Reserve Care’s mission and services throughout Northern Ohio.

Brown joined Reserve Care from the Lorain County Community College Foundation, where she served as executive director since 2017. During her tenure, she helped significantly grow the foundation’s endowment, expand its portfolio of endowed funds and lead a multiyear comprehensive campaign that surpassed its original fundraising goal.

“Reserve Care has a strong history of caring for patients and families during some of life’s most important moments, and philanthropy helps make that care possible,” Brown said. “I look forward to deepening relationships with our donors and community partners and creating new opportunities to support this mission.”

Before joining Lorain County Community College, Brown spent more than 13 years with University Hospitals in Cleveland, where she held several fundraising and development roles. As director of corporate and foundation relations, she helped lead a major comprehensive campaign and secured significant gifts from corporate and foundation partners.

Brown earned a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Kent State University. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive through the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

She is also the immediate past board chair of Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio. board president of the Amherst Historical Society and board member of Lorain County Health and Dentistry.
